The Resource Nurse provides clinical support and guidance to nursing staff across assigned Inpatient Units or shifts. This role serves as a subject-matter expert and clinical resource, promoting high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff competency while supporting IPU operations as needed.
Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language
Assists with documentation reviews to support:

Administers medications and treatments in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
Provide orientation regularly to new employees.
Attends and participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings (IDG) as required.
Reports patients' and/or residents' condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.
Floats to other IPUs assigned to meet patient care needs.
Maintain your required licenses, certifications, and mandatory skill updates.
Comply with all policies, local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Provide other duties of a healthcare team member
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stairs or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.
