Contracting Specialist

Location: Clearwater, 33759 – This position is hybrid

Hybrid requirements: After 90 days, allow a hybrid schedule (1) week in-office, (1) week remote, they switch off on Thursdays (rotating weekly schedule)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Type: Contract for busy season

Assignment duration: Busy season is through end of October, this role may go perm if there are FTE (full time employee) seats available (business needs).

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (2-15 minute breaks, 30 minute lunch)

J ob description:

Process contracts for licensed insurance professionals and ensure accuracy across agent, agency, and carrier records
Perform highly repetitive, detail-oriented tasks requiring strong focus and consistency over long periods
Review exception reports, research issues, and resolve discrepancies related to licensing, commissions, and hierarchies
Communicate with internal teams, agents, and external partners to resolve contracting and licensing issues
Participate in onboarding activities and complete an on-site Excel assessment as part of the hiring process

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree
Document data entry background
Contracting background

Requirements:

Must have recent data entry experience or a clerical/administrative background
Must be MS Office proficient including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams
MS Excel: Basic - Must be able to sort, filter, search
Strong communication skills written and verbal
No previous commitments for the first (30) days
High school diploma or equivalent required
Background check required
