Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

  • Welcome patients with warmth and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit
  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures
  • Update patients' health history and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Perform scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, and other preventive care.
  • Identify periodontal and restorative needs and communicate them effectively with the dentist
  • Capture and interpret digital x-rays
  • Conduct head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant environment
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure seamless patient experiences

What We’re Looking For

  • Education : Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
  • Licenses : Valid CT hygiene license and CPR certification
  • Experience : 1+ years of dental experience preferred, but new graduates are warmly welcomed!
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
  • Certifications: Certification in anesthesia (preferred)
