We’re growing quickly and looking for someone who wants to be part of building something meaningful from the ground up.

The Role

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job .

As a Business Development Associate, you’ll be out in the community—meeting people, building relationships, and introducing local businesses to what we do.

But just as important—you’ll help create the materials and messaging that open those doors.

You won’t just hand out flyers. You’ll help design what goes on them, how they’re positioned, and how they’re used in real conversations .

Think of this role as part relationship builder, part brand ambassador, part creative marketer .

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Prospect and visit 40 plus local businesses per week (gyms, med spas, offices, wellness centers, etc.) 
• Introduce our brand in a professional, engaging way
• Educate business owners and staff on our services: 
  • Functional medicine care
  • Advanced lab testing
  • IV therapy
  • Premium supplements
  • Peptides
• Create and refine marketing materials , including: 
  • One-pagers and leave-behinds
  • Partnership decks
  • Flyers and promotional offers
  • Simple presentations or digital materials
• Test different messaging and offers in the field and iterate based on real feedback
• Identify partnership opportunities (referrals, events, collaborations)
• Track outreach and follow-ups
• Provide insight into what messaging is working—and what isn’t
• Help shape how we grow in the Charleston market

• Have a college degree (business, marketing, health, or related field preferred).
• Are comfortable both talking to people and creating content.
• Can walk into a business and start a conversation without hesitation.

• Prefer being out in the field vs. stuck at a desk.

This is a Monday - Friday position. Non-smokers only. Prior experience even in an educational setting preferred.

COEM - The Center for Occupational & Environmental Medicine, has been treating patients from across the US and internationally since 1978. We specialize in treating the whole person in an integrative manner utilizing the best traditional and holistic protocols available. COEM looks at the Total Body Stress Load - we investiage the Allergic, Toxic, Infectious, and Emotional Loads carried by the patient in addition to their hormonal balance and diet and nutrition. Lifestyle factors are discussed to find the optimal path to health and maintaining that for the long term.
