The Role

As a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer, you will drive initiatives that enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of both production and development environments. You will lead major infrastructure and automation projects, improve tools and processes, and ensure the seamless deployment, monitoring, and operation of critical applications. This role includes guiding CI/CD strategy, advancing infrastructure-as-code practices, and providing operational leadership across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across infrastructure and automation projects.
  • Drive automation and maintenance of performance testing and pre-production environments.
  • Lead containerization efforts and champion Infrastructure as Code best practices.
  • Design and implement automation for engineering, deployment, and operational workflows.
  • Define and execute high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
  • Architect, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple services and teams.
  • Create, maintain, and automate runbooks to improve operational consistency and reduce toil.
  • Participate in and guide on-call support , ensuring production systems remain stable and performant.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, TechOps, or similar roles.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical projects or contributing as a technical lead.
  • 3+ years working with containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
  • Strong proficiency in shell scripting and at least one programming language such as Python or Go .
  • Demonstrated ability to define project scope, requirements, and delivery milestones.
  • Experience leading or collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams .
  • Solid experience operating and optimizing AWS production environments .
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability technologies (e.g., OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience with at least two configuration or IaC tools, such as Puppet , Salt , Ansible , or Terraform .
  • Experience implementing or managing secrets management tools (e.g., Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and vulnerability management.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $165,000 - $175,000, depending on location and experience.
