Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper in Columbia, SC to provide outsourced accounting support on a part-time basis. This is a PART TIME (15-20 hours per week), temporary to hire position

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee monthly and year-end financial statements
• Manage accounting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency
• Reconcile P-Card (procurement card) statements
• Coordinate and collaborate with our external auditors for the annual audit
• Make weekly onsite visits to:
• Prepare and make bank deposits
• Transfer funds
• Write and process checks
• Support the organization in maintaining sound accounting procedures and internal controls

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong MS Office Skills
• Experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Prior experience supporting audits and working directly with external auditors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Hours:

• PART TIME - 15-20 hours per week
• Flexible hours
• Work will be completed Monday - Friday

Compensation & Additional Information:

• $23 - $25 hourly
• 100% onsite
• Temporary to Hire
