Job Description

Chameleon Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale data warehouse modernization initiative. This role will drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a modern, cloud-based data platform that supports advanced analytics and data-driven decision making.

This is a high-impact opportunity to lead an end-to-end transformation effort, working across business and technical teams to deliver a scalable, future-ready data solution.

This is a hybrid role and will require our consultant to be onsite in the client's Seattle office location 3-days per week. This is a multi-year project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a data warehouse modernization initiative from assessment through implementation
• Develop and manage key project deliverables including project charter, project management plan, and integrated schedule
• Facilitate current-state assessment and requirements gathering with stakeholders
• Coordinate platform evaluation and selection , including vendor engagement and decision support
• Oversee implementation of a cloud-based data warehouse solution
• Drive delivery of priority use cases , including reporting, dashboards, and analytics workflows
• Manage cross-functional teams across business, data, engineering, and vendor groups
• Establish and maintain project governance , including schedule, budget, risks, and reporting
• Lead risk, issue, and change management processes
• Provide executive-level communication , including status reporting and stakeholder updates
• Support organizational change management and user adoption
• Ensure knowledge transfer and transition to operations

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, including complex technology initiatives
• Proven experience leading data warehouse, data platform, or analytics implementations
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Strong knowledge of project governance, scheduling, and financial management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data integration approaches (ETL or ELT) and analytics ecosystems
• Background in platform evaluation and vendor selection processes
• Familiarity with organizational change management practices
• PMP or similar certification

Duration

• This is a multi-year project. The initial engagement of approximately 12 to 18 months with potential for extension.
