Tax Senior Associate | $90,000 – $115,000 | Upland, CA (Hybrid)

Most Tax Senior roles are built around repetition.

Prepare, file, move on.

This one’s a bit different.

Here, tax isn’t just about getting returns out the door, it’s about understanding what’s behind them. You’ll still handle compliance, but you’ll also get exposure to planning, research, and advisory work that actually develops your technical skillset.

Yes, there’s preparation and some review. But you won’t be stuck in a silo. You’ll be involved across the full process, working closely with seniors and managers to understand the “why,” not just the “how.”

You’ll work across a mix of individuals and businesses, gaining exposure to more complex

returns over time and building toward a more senior, review-focused position.

Busy season still exists. But it’s structured. Not chaotic.

• $90,000 – $115,000 depending on experience.

What they’re looking for:

• 3–5 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing federal and multi-state returns across various entity types.
• Strong understanding of workpapers, book-to-tax adjustments, and compliance requirements.
• CPA or actively pursuing (Master’s in Tax is a plus).
• Someone who wants to develop technically and grow into more responsibility.
