Senior Tax Operations Consultant – Global Provision & Compliance

HIGH-IMPACT ROLE WITHIN A COMPLEX MULTINATIONAL TAX ENVIRONMENT – This is an opportunity to support the income tax provision and compliance process for a large, publicly traded global organization, contributing to critical reporting cycles and ensuring accuracy across international operations.

OPPORTUNITY TO LEVERAGE TECHNICAL PROVISION AND COMPLIANCE EXPERTISE – In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of tax provision and international non-US compliance, working with external advisors and internal stakeholders to review filings and validate reporting within OneSource Tax Provision.

LOCATION AND DURATION – This is a contract opportunity will begin as soon as possible working 40 hours each week through mid-October. Hybrid (local to Philadelphia) is highly preferred, but open to fully remote candidates.

COMPANY - Our client is a large, publicly traded multinational corporation with a significant global footprint, known for its complex tax structure and sophisticated financial reporting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support specific aspects of the global consolidation of income tax provision packages
• Review non-U.S. legal entity tax filings prepared by external advisors (e.g., Big 4 firms)
• Validate and reconcile tax provision data within OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) against internal financial reporting packages
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and perform detailed reconciliation analysis within OTP
• Collaborate with internal tax, accounting, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation as needed

Requirements:

• Strong experience in income tax provision within a large, publicly traded multinational organization
• Hands-on experience supporting tax provision consolidation activities (specific components vs. full ownership)
• Solid background in reviewing non-U.S. legal entity/local country tax filings prepared by Big 4
• Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision (OTP), with experience on reconciliation and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal ramp-up time
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SAP

• Experience with Google Sheets

• Background in process improvement initiatives
